Fasteignagrunnur is a non-indexed savings account for customers in the age range of 15 to 35 years. Each deposit has a 12-month term and is free for withdrawal after that.
If the account owner is a non-financially competent minor, the account is fixed until the account owner reaches 18 years, although no less than 12 months from the initial deposit. It is not possible to make deposits after the age of 35.
