You can always find your PIN in the app or online banking.

In Landsbankinn’s app, tap the PIN of the relevant credit card. In online banking, open My Page, click the menu button of the relevant credit card and select Retrieve PIN.

The PIN is used to confirm payments made with the Bank’s payment cards, so it must be safeguarded. The PIN is not required for transactions under ISK 7,500.

Use a password, fingerprint or face ID to open the phone or watch. This replaces your PIN when you pay with your phone or watch.

If the card is stolen or lost, it is important to freeze it immediately in the app or contact our Customer Service Centre by calling +354 410 4000. Outside of our opening hours, call +354 525 2000, which is the emergency number for Visa cards.

If the cardholder or company notices an unusual card transaction or has already used the card to pay for a product or service that has not been delivered, it is important to contact the merchant or report it as soon as possible.

If the merchant is unable to correct the transaction, the cardholder may make a chargeback claim by logging into the chargeback website with their electronic ID and selecting the card in question.

The withdrawal period is from the 27th of each month until the 26th of the following month. The due date is the 2nd of each month unless that day falls on a holiday, in which case the due date is the next working day.

For procurement cards, the withdrawal period is from the 1st to the 31st of each month. The due date is the 15th of the following month unless that day falls on a holiday, in which case the due date is the next working day.

General business card

General business cards are no longer a part of the Bank’s payment card selection and cannot be renewed once the current validity period expires.

Once the current card expires, it will automatically upgrade to Business Card.

Gold Business Card

Gold Business Cards are now Business Card.

Gold Icelandair Saga Club Business Card

Gold Icelandair Saga Club Business Cards are now Icelandair Saga Club Business Card.

Platinum Business cards

Platinum Business cards are no longer a part of the Bank’s payment card selection and cannot be renewed once the current validity period expires. Your card will work until the expiry date, gathering 5 Icelandair Saga Points for every ISK 1,000 in domestic turnover. Insurance also remains unchanged, as does the Priority Pass which gives you access to a wide range of premium lounges.
