The Landsbankinn calendar for 2025 is dedicated to water and its diverse roles in our lives. This year, the calendar features watercolor paintings by the artist Stefán "Mottan" Óli Baldursson.
The calendars are now available at the bank’s largest branches and will soon be distributed to all branches. Customers who wish to have a calendar can pick one up at their nearest branch. Calendars are also being sent by post to active customers aged 66 and older.
Water is Life
For Icelanders, water is deeply intertwined with our culture and daily lives, an essential element that makes living in Iceland possible. It is such an integral part of our existence that we sometimes overlook it. Water appears in countless forms: it can be our greatest enemy or strongest ally—a roaring waterfall, a refreshing sip, dew at sunrise, freshly fallen snow, or a warming geothermal pool.
To reduce paper usage, the calendar has been printed in a smaller quantity than before.
