Last night and early this morning, the Bank experienced disruptions to several of its services. These disruptions were related to issues that have affected companies around the world.
The disruptions prevented access to Landsbankinn’s app and online banking, ATMs were unavailable and branch and Customer Service Centre services were limited. The Bank’s payment cards functioned as before yet issues with service providers caused some delay in card use.
Work to limit the impact of these disruptions began as soon as they were detected. The app and online banking were up and running at around 10:00 and most services had been restored at around 10:30.
