Landsbankinn’s outlet in Bolungarvík will merge into the Ísafjörður branch on 1 July.
Since 2015, Landsbankinn has operated a service outlet in the Bolungarvík town hall in Aðalstræti 10-12. Alongside increased use of digital service solutions, demand for teller services have declined greatly.
Landsbankinn will continue to operate an ATM in Bolungarvík with 24-hour access. The Landsbankinn branch in Ísafjörður is open between 9-16 on weekdays. The distance between Bolungarvík and Ísafjörður is about 13 km. Customers in Bolungarvík will be offered instruction and guidance on use of the Bank’s digital solutions on two Tuesdays, 9 and 23 June, at 15:00 on both days.

Today, 11 November, 60 years have passed from the founding of scholarship fund Háskólasjóður hf. Eimskipafélags Íslands. The Fund was created in memory of Icelandic emigrants to the USA and Canada who participated in the establishment of shipping company Eimskipafélagið.
